2010 NEGYSTC TEACHER OF THE YEAR!

The Northeast Georgia Youth Science & Technology Center’s Teacher of the Year award is to honor an outstanding K-8 teacher from an NEGYSTC member school system (Banks, Franklin, Gainesville City, Habersham, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, and White).  A winner will be selected who displays best practices in inquiry-based, hands-on science instruction, and serves as a model for their colleagues.  Winners will then be nominated to apply for the 2011 Georgia Science Teacher Association's Teacher of the Year.
